First Aid for Cyclists Level 1

Introduction

This course will provide delegates with the skills required to manage and administer first aid relating to injuries more commonly associated with Cycling. Cycling is a high risk activity with an increased chance of an accident. Additionally those cycling are more likely to stop to assist others involved in an accident on the road, thereby putting themselves at risk of being hit by another vehicle.

Training can either take place on site at a customer’s premises or in one of our accredited training centres.

This course is suitable for anyone who rides a bicycle on a regular basis, members of a cycling club, or a group of people who commute to work using a bicycle.

What will be covered?

Course Content

All our first aid courses fully meet the UK and European Resuscitation Council Guidelines 2021 as per the HSE requirements.

Hours CPD Certified: 3

All trainees will be provided with an accredited or in-house certificate following successful completion of the course which is valid for 3 years; 3 yearly refresher training is recommended.
