Pet First Aid Level 2

Dog with Bandage on Paw - Pet First Aid Level 2

Lets start with an

Introduction

So many of us have pets at home, would you know what to do if they sustained an injury or started choking? This course is not designed to replace you taking your furry friend to the vet if there is an issue, but more with what you can do at home if something does happen that requires immediate treatment to save their life. Additionally it will teach you how to deal with minor injuries that may not require immediate veterinary assistance. You will be able to calm your pet and reduce the risk of delayed treatment.

This is a fun, enjoyable and informative course and will provide you with the knowledge and skills required to deal with an emergency with your pet should you need to. By completing this course you will gain a deep understanding of basic first aid for your pet and give you the skills to help and prevent them from deteriorating before professional assistance can be given to them by your vet.

Training can either take place on site at a customer’s premises, in your home or in one of our accredited training centres. All our first aid courses fully meet the UK and European Resuscitation Council Guidelines 2021 as per the HSE requirements.
