Reach Truck

Reach Truck in Warehouse during Training Session

Lets start with an

Introduction

Reach trucks are narrow trucks designed to be manoeuvrable, fit in narrow aisles and lift to greater heights than other trucks such as the Counterbalance. They are designed to negotiate in and out of tight aisles and are perfect for pallet storage within warehouses. Two of the main benefits of the Reach truck are its size, meaning racking can be narrower allowing for additional storage of product, and the height it can lift to, again allowing companies to take racking higher and utilise more space within the warehouse. Reach trucks are powered by a battery and can come with some different attachments such as double deep forks which can be used to stack pallets two deep if you have the racking designed for this.

Whatever your skill level we will ensure the training is adapted to meet your needs and you will walk away feeling confident in the use of Reach trucks moving forward. All of these trucks require a high skill level in order to operate safely. Our instructors will ensure that by the end of the course all trainees will understand their legal obligations regarding checking the truck is safe to use and will be able to operate the truck in a safe and efficient manner.

Durations will be tailored for each course, taking into consideration number of trainees and level of experience. Our team will work with you to help determine which course is the most suitable.
