Introduction

If you work in an industry that deals with dangerous and corrosive liquids would you know what to do if there was a spill? Spill kit training will increase your awareness regarding the storing, handling and dispensing of liquids and how to deal with a spill effectively should it occur.

If you work with hazardous substances you have a responsibility as an employer to ensure that those working on site know how to respond to an emergency spill. Workers should have an emergency plan ready in case the situation arises where a hazardous spill is required to be dealt with.

The aim of the course is to teach trainees how to effectively and correctly use a spill kit. This skill will ensure that your organisation keeps in line with legislation whilst protecting those who work on site and the environment surrounding it.

This is a practical course and will take those on the course through a series of spill scenarios that will be relevant to your site conditions and chemicals.
