Introduction

Giving those in a management or Team Leader role the information and knowledge required to be responsible for the safety and health of all in the workplace.

The IOSH Managing Safely Refresher course covers risk assessments, as well as health and safety legislation, providing a recap of key course content for candidates. IOSH recommends that a refresher course is taken within three years of completing the course.

The course includes areas such as how to identify, evaluate and control workplace risks, as well as how to evaluate safety systems and strategies in the workplace.

By updating their understanding of these subjects, delegates will gain assurance in advocating for correct safety procedures. Additionally, they will have the chance to contemplate their own safety procedures following the completion of the initial course. The course also enhances the knowledge of applicants in keeping up with any changes in the law, regulations and best practice guidance.

Training can either take place on site at a customer’s premises or in one of our accredited training centres.
