IOSH Managing Safely

Teacher Informing Delegates during Managing Safely IOSH Course

Lets start with an

Introduction

It has never been more important that those in management and supervisory roles are aware of their responsibility for the health and safety of those that they work with. This course will provide insight and the skills required to ensure they are always considering health and safety in the workplace.

Delegates will be able to take responsibility for health and safety and assess and improve existing health and safety procedures and practices within their place of work. This includes understanding risk assessments and how they will be part of the process when they are introduced or updated, as well as, the process for creating Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) specific to business requirements.

The course is delivered in such a way as to engage, inform and inspire delegates to pass on their knowledge to those that they work with to ensure a safer working environment, reducing time taken off work due to illness and workplace-related injuries.

Training can either take place on site at a customer’s premises or in one of our accredited training centres. We are accredited by IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health) and on successful completion of the course each delegate will receive a Managing Safely certificate.
