Order Pickers are found in most distribution centres and warehouses and are mainly used for low and high level order picking in narrow aisles.
An order picker is there to make the life of an employee easier by raising them up to the required height to pick stock required from pallets on racking. These types of trucks can vary and although can be low level machines, some can extend beyond 10 metres. Order pickers will have a built-in fall protection to eliminate the risk of someone falling from height. These trucks reduce the manual handling requirement of the operator, being able to raise the truck to the required height reduces reaching for goods and bending over to place them on a pallet. They are versatile trucks and with the correct training can greatly improve productivity in the workplace.
Training will take place on site at the customers premises, and duration will be tailored for each course, taking into consideration number of trainees and level of experience. Our team will work with you to help determine which course is the most suitable.
Most commonly used in a distribution centre or warehouse, this course is suitable for any operator of an Order Picker.

All trainees will be provided with an accredited or in-house certificate following successful completion of the course which is valid for 3 years; 3 yearly refresher training is recommended.
